Rock #53 Home is Where You Hang Your Hat
I first did this rock in a pastel green and then layered different colors of green to make the background. I drew the witches hat with a glitter gel pen and then wrote the saying "Home is where you hang your hat" GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment on Facebook #GJRATA I originally abandoned it at Empty Bowls fundraiser for the soup kitchen.
Rock #52 Live the Dream
I originally painted this rock blue and then added the pink in layers over the top, so the blue shows through some in spots. I then used sharpie to make the silhouette design. I added white windows and stars and then wrote Live the Dream! GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment on Facebook #GJRATA
This was originally abandoned in the GJHS Library. Someone found it and gave it to Mrs Middlemas. She may hide it somewhere else, we will see...
5/18 - At the end of the school year I swiped it back. My daughter wants to keep it for now. She is going to keep it in her "Live Corner" in her dorm at college. She may set it free at a later date.
Rock #51 Flowering Flower
I got this idea from Pinterest. I think it turned out really good on the black background. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA
This was originally placed at St Mary's Clinic. I found a rock (below) as I was going to place this one, so I placed my rock and took the rock that was there and placed it somewhere else at the Clinic.

Rock #49 Fingerprints
I really like this quote, so I came up with a rock to go with it. The quote says, "When you can't see God's hands, look for His fingerprints!" I then stamped my fingerprint on it. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA
Rock #48 Sunshine Smiles
This one started with the yellow basecoat. I then painted the Smiley Sunshine. I added the words "Smile It's a beautiful day!" GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned at Village Inn on North.
Rock #47 Pumpkin
This rock was sealed as the natural rock. I then painted a pumkin on it. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA I originally abandoned this outside of Rib City on North on top of the Nickel paper holder.
Rock #46 Find Joy in the Journey
I sealed the natural rock and then used Gel Pens to draw the mountain scene and to write: "Find Joy in the Journey" GJ Rocks & Art Treashures Abansonment #GJRATA I originally abandoned this at the Shell Station on Horizon.

Rock #45 Trust God
I saw something similar to this design on Pinterest. I decided to paint the decorations similar to what I saw on Pinterest. I then added the words Trust God. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment I was going to abandon this one at the Church, but handed it off to a friend instead.
Rock #44 Jewel Art
This rock was also painted with the platinum paint to give the rock a shimmer. I then used outdoor Mod Podge to glue down the jewels on this. Sealed with Krylon. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment This was originally abandoned at Sam's Club in the parking lot.
Rock # 43 Stop and Enjoy the beauty of life
This rock was really cool looking before it was painted (it doesn't really show up in the pic). I covered it with platinum paint and it gave it a shimmer. I then used sharpies to make the design and write the sayings. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment This was originally abandoned near My Favorite Muffin.

Rock #42 Encouring Words
For this one, I was testing out my new CraftSmart Paint Pens that I got from Michael's for $8 for the set. I wrote the words (Love, Trust, Believe, Inspire, and Smile) on the rock each in a different colored pen. I then used some of the other pens to fill in the space with some dot flowers. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment
This was originally abandoned at the LDS church on G Rd.
Rock #41 Purple with Lines
I was testing some ideas I had on this rock. First I put rubber bands around the rock, trying to make them as flat against the rock as possible. I then used spray paint to paint it purple. After it dried, I took off the rubber bands. The results weren't quite what I was expecting, so the rock sat on my table for a long time as I debated on just completely starting over with the rock or not. I decided I would paint each line a different color. It turned out ok, but not my favorite. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment
This was originally abandoned outside of Coloramo on Horizon.
Rock #40 Sprial Rainbow Dots
It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but the dots start in the middle and sprial around the rock. The dots spread out the further away from the center it gets. I want to try this technique again, but fill in the spaces, so it's more like a defined line. #GJRATA GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment
This was originally abandoned outside of Safeway on Horizon
7/18 - Found at Distant Drums RV Resort in Camp Verde, AZ and has been placed somewhere new.
