I made this one while painting rocks with my niece, Raylynn, and Sister-in-law, Sunday.

The General Young Women's Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints challenged the Young Women of the Church to do 150 of something to celebrate 150 yrs of the Young Women's organization.  There will be a special Face to Face fireside on Nov 15, 2020 to celebrate the 150 yrs. I decided to paint 150 rocks.  This is #14 of my #150 to be finished by Nov 15, 2020.

I started this one at a YW 12/13 rock painting activity and finished it while painting rocks with my niece, Raylynn, and Sister-in-law, Sunday.  I had just added the mustard and Sunday suggested that I add ketchup.  I think it turned out pretty good. :)

This was rock #78 that I had done with a sticker but had not abandoned.  The stickers were peeling off, so I pulled them off the rest of the way and decided to paint on it instead.  I used acrylic paint and the Posca Paint pens to do this one. Sealed with Concrete sealer.

#130 Lonely Snowman

Our School District Wellness gave a challenge to paint a winter scene and provided the canvas to use for it.  I had some ideas and decided to test them on rocks before using the canvas.  So I did the trees with a full moon and then the snowman with the moon.  The canvas ended up being a combination of both rocks.

I imagine the snowman going back to the source of its arms and giving thanks.  May we always remember to give thanks to our maker and have an attitude of gratitude!
