Rock #13 Turtle
I used the extra paint from Rock #9 to paint the background on this one. I was thinking of doing a palm beach scene, but Melody suggested I do a turtle. Since I love turtles, that is what it became. I looked for turtle ideas on Pinterest and came up with this one. I absolutlely love the way it turned out. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment. #GJRATA This was originally abandoned in the lobby at my favorite business in GJ. ~~~Jeff's Automotive. :) After sitting in the lobby for about a month, I replaced it with a different rock and reabandoned this one at the Wendy's on Horizon.
Rock #12 Strawberry
I got this idea from Pinterest. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned near 5th and Rood when I was going to lunch at Bin 707 with the ladies from work for Nancy's bday. It had been picked up by the time we came out from lunch.
Rock #11 Polka Dot Peace
I don't love this one, but it will go out anyway. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned near Michael's.
Rock #10 Joy
I got this idea from Pinterest. I used a combination of paints, dot painting, and gel pens for this one. I think it is so cute! GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned in the Red Lobster parking lot when I went to lunch with Angie. It had been picked up by the time we were done with lunch.
Rock #9 Dot Art Coral with Blue
Dot Art. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned in the rocks by the Safeway Parking lot.
Rock #8 Tiger Stripes Suicide Awareness
Once a tiger, always a tiger...I did this one in memory of the 4 boys that died by suicide this past school year that had attended GJHS at some point. Billy, Junior, Caleb, and Landon may you rest in peace. #SuicideAwareness GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned outside of Lincoln Park Pool.
Rock #7 Dot Art Turquise with overlapping circles
Dot Art. I made this one on our craft day with Jen. It was so much fun to get together and paint. GJ Rocks & Art Treasure Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned near Hobby Lobby.
Rock #6 Sun with Tangled inspired Sun inside.
I had painted the outer sun and was debating what to put inside. I was thinking either the word "shine" or a smiley face. Melody suggested that I put the Tangled Sun, so that's what I went with. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was abandoned on my morning walk at Sherwood Park.
Accidental Art
I looked down at the freezer paper that I had used when painting the rocks and saw this cutie smiling back at me.
Rock #5 Smile with flowers in grass
This rock was decorated using Gel Pens. I am sending it with a friend to Fairbanks, Alaska to be placed there. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned at Pioneer Park in Fairbanks AK when my friend Jen was there visiting her daughter.
Rock #4 Sunflower
I got this idea from Pinterest. This is my 4th rock to be painted and abandoned. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned at Rocket Ship Park on a bench.

Rock #3 Flowers in the Grass with Cloud cover
Because of the shape of the rock, I had to take several pics from different angles to show the art. Other than the base coat, this rock was entirely painted using toothpicks as the painting tool. GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned at WalMart, near a tree in the parking lot.
Rock #2 Love
This was the 2nd rock that I painted and abandoned. GJ Rocks & Art Abandonment #GJRATA This was originally abandoned at Texas Roadhouse when Melody and I went for lunch.
Rock #1 Dot Art Peace
I joined a fun group on FB called GJ Rocks & Art Treasures Abandonment #GJRATA. This is the first rock that I painted and abandoned. :) This was originally abandoned in the waiting room at RMOA when we were there for Melody's appointment for her broken foot.
